I've been looking forward to today for aaaaages.

Elvis and Katie were one of my

very first couples who's wedding I shot back in 2010.

I didn't meet either of them until the night before the wedding

but we immediately hit it off...

Katie's since become one of my dearest friends,

and lucky for me although she lives in Arkansas

her family lives about 45 minutes away from me.

Which means that every time she comes to see them

I try to squeeze in a little face time as well.

I was mostly excited about today because The Boy and I

went on a double date with them tonight

and I finally got to introduce them to him

and he got to meet the adorable couple

he's heard so much about.

It was really the loveliest of evenings :)
