After being very skeptical about the

probability of us getting snow today

I woke up this morning to about 1 inch of snow on the ground

and lots of huge wet flakes falling from the sky.

My dad and I were planning on getting up

and going hiking in palo duro canyon

but since the weather didn't permit for that

we just drove out there so that I could at least see the

"grand canyon of Texas"

It was gorgeous and the snow only

enhanced the beauty of it all.

Tonight was dad's last dinner out here

and it was a great dinner.

The guy who was there to do the entertainment

for the dinner was amaaaazing.

He sounded just like Josh Groban.

And then to top off a lovely night

the Rangers had to go and let a chance at

winning the world series slip right through their fingers :P
