Today was a day of holding back.
Of not getting ahead of God.
A day of focusing on the task right in front of me,
and not tomorrow's, or next week's, or next years
tasks and responsibilities.
This is the day that the Lord has made.
I will rejoice and be glad in it.
I came home from grocery shopping this afternoon to find the doll and the note on my bed,
left there by my littlest sister, Emma. I'd only been gone about two hours, but when I opened the card it said "Dear Jessica, welcome home." I don't deserve all her sweet love and attention ;)
